Bisamberg line

The Bisamberg line consists of medium bodied, fruity wines typical of the variety of grapes cultivated. In order to capture the climate and the soil of the Bisamberg area, the wines are fermented in steel tanks. Only the red wines undergo malolactic fermentation in used wooden casks.

Delicate straw yellow with a touch of green;
Clear, polished, fine-bodied fruit, intensely natural, spicy aroma with fine notes of various herbs and spices, coriander, clover, lemon thyme and cumin. Fruity acidity, crisp with a distinctive finish.

The Viennese blended wine comes from three vineyards with very old vines, which give it a full extract and density. It mainly consists of Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Welschriesling. Green yellow in the glass, its flowery, slightly spicy aroma seduces us quickly to another sip.

A beautifully structured wine with a straw yellow color, peach and nectarine aromas as well as some kumquat in the nose. Fruity and mineral on the palate with hints of tangerine and papaya with floral character. A great Riesling with delicate, dry spiciness – it has a very stimulating effect.

Distinct Zweigelt notes of light cherry and currant; Onion hue with a medium, creamy structure. A harmonious balance on the palate gives the wine a pleasant character.

Optimal drinking temperature 18° C

The must, harvested from about 40-year-old vines, ferments two to three weeks as mash open in the vat, after which it is stored in wooden barrels in order to carry out the malolactic fermentation and further maturation.
Ruby and garnet hues with violet reflexes, the bouquet shows sour cherries typical of Zweigelt; currant as well as mildly smoky and spicy chocolate with soft tannins embody the finish.


Site Wines and Reserve Wines

Reserve wines are not pressed every year. It is only when the vintage meets the high demands of the wines that it finds its way to the bottle. Until bottling, the fine vine juice is stored unsulphured on fine yeast.

Light green and yellow hues, clear, nutty aroma of apple and pears with delicate vegetal and floral nuances, delicate, polished and relatively cool fruitiness, strong, leafy, slightly salty spiciness, good structure, lemony after taste, appropriate length and freshness – gains strength in the glass, matures well.

Clear golden yellow hue with green reflexes, aroma of ripe apple. Delicately leafy and spicy with an intense fruity flavour and an exotic touch. Uniquely spicy on the palate with nutmeg and herbs; mild acidity, robust and dense with ripe tannins, complex minerality with a good length. A spicy power pack with the best character and lots of potential

Golden yellow hue, complex aroma of ripe garden peach, apricot, elderberry, plum and mandarin zest; voluptuous and mineral. Its pungent, dense acidity is well integrated into the strong structure with a lasting finish.

The Cuvée Bisamberg, which is more than two thirds Chardonnay and the rest Pinot Blanc grows on lime-rich loess soil of "In the Wiesthalen", thus offering ideal conditions for a strong wine with a burgundy character. The Chardonnay is fermented directly in oak barrels for at least half a year on yeast, where it undergoes biological acid degradation before meeting the Pinot Blanc. The strong golden yellow color, the nutty bouquet of white bread and dried fruit with lightly roasted aromas alternate to create a dense taste experience on the palate with a very long finish. A wine that ages very well.

Intensive salmon pink with very delicate, long-lasting mousseux; spicy and delicate aroma of cherries and dark wild strawberries, fruity and creamy, with a distinct note of yeast, elegant minerality. Complex and extract-rich on the palate with dry velvety tannins and elegant acidity.
